Peter Lindfield
Peter Lindfield is President and CEO of Balanced Viewpoint, a provider of research and executive events on structural challenges to the global information and telecommunications industries. Balanced Viewpoint delivers thought leadership and actionable advice to enable its clients to make more informed business and technology decisions with a specific focus on emerging global challenges and risks.
Mr. Lindfield has been vice president with EDS Canada, vice president and managing director with SHL/MCI Systemhouse and managing partner with OCG. He is a recognized authority on outsourcing and shared services and is a frequent speaker to business audiences across North America on the emerging economic challenges to global stability. He studied for a doctorate in political philosophy at Ottawa’s Carleton University where he lectured in strategy and management.
He has served as director of a number of business and not‐for‐profit organizations including the Canadian Centre for Business‐Government Relations, the Management Research Laboratory, the Information Technology Alliance of Nova Scotia (ITANS) and he currently is chair‐elect of the New Brunswick Chamber of Commerce. He lives overlooking the Saint John River with his wife Nicole.
